Domestic Violence Awareness Month
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Pastors, youth ministers and lay leaders are invited to be aware and help raise awareness about the problem of domestic violence at the Be Aware Lunch and Learn 2020. This years’ event will focus on the familiar question “Why does she stay?” Join Rev. Lesley Lindblad from WOVEN Circle and Elena Brooks-Perkins from Hanover Safe Place to discuss why women stay in abusive relationships and ways in which faith communities can support survivors.
Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Middle and high school aged students are invited to gather with parental participation for this half day workshop. The age appropriate groups will spend time discussing various topics and then will also gather together for a session together.
